Take Shape For Life is a new kind of professional business model that is physician-lead and comprised of thousands of independent Heath Advisors throughout the United States. Our Health Advisors are the backbone of our business and are the key ingredient that sets Take Shape for Life (TSFL) apart.

Health Advisors utilize Relationship Marketing to develop customers and other Health Advisors. Technically, TSFL is a Direct Sales organization, but the truth is, that we are more than a Direct Sales company. We are actually a hybrid business model that combines elements of Direct Sales, Professional Sales, and Franchising

Health Advisors offer long-term solutions for people’s weight management challenges and other health concerns while providing the total care support that customers need.

Our goal is to help people optimize their health and lead richer and more fulfilling lives. No one else delivers the kind of personalized attention that Health Advisors and Health Care Professionals can give, one-on-one, friend-to-friend. What’s more, The Health Institute provides third party credibility and continuing education for any Health Advisor seeking to improve and learn more. In short, TSFL gives every Health Advisor a professional organization to belong to and the opportunity to own and operate a real business. As a Health advisor, you are given the foundation and framework from which you can build a solid and long-term enterprise.

It is also important to understand what we are not a company that relies on hype or gimmicks. We do not and will not ever offer products that are unnecessary, unproven, or unsafe. Additionally, we are committed to teaching and helping Health Advisors build a long-term business based on customer acquisition, service, and retention, and not on self-use or recruiting.

Getting Started
Getting started as a Health Advisor is simple and easy. We provide you with the training tools and mentoring you’ll need in order to succeed. Choose to join either through our standard program or our professional track.

Standard Program:
When someone joins Take Shape For Life, they either join a Health Advisor by purchasing an Application Pak for $69 or they purchase the optional Career Builders Pak for $299.

Once registered, each applicant will be given the opportunity to review a simple short discussion of the product line and will be required to take the Basic Product Knowledge exam developed by The Health Institute.

This exam is mandatory since all Health Advisors need to have a good understanding of the products that they recommend to customers. The exam is a simple open-book quiz that can be taken either online or by hard copy. An applicant has 30 days in which to complete and return the exam.

Successful completion of the Basic Product Knowledge Exam allows a Health Advisor to offer Take Shape For Life/Medifast products to individual consumers.

If a Health Advisor chooses, there are no further requirements for additional courses or examinations. However, if a Health Advisor wishes to increase his or her knowledge and open additional channels to earn through TSFL, he or she can soon do so by taking the Health Advisor Certification Course developed exclusively for Take Shape For Life by The Health Institute. Most Health Advisors who are serious about building a large business will opt to take the certification.

Professional Program:
A physician or other Health Care Professional can join Take Shape For Life in our Professional Program by purchasing a Professionals Application Pak for $139 or by purchasing the optional Professionals Career Builders Pak for $299.

Like all Health Advisors, applicants for the Professionals’ track will need to take the Basic Product Knowledge Exam, but because of the medical nature of our programs, will be afforded additional opportunities such as being able to profile patients/customers as well as an invitation to join The Health Institute.

The compensation plan is the same for both Health Advisors and Health Care Professionals. However, Health Advisors incomes are referred to generally as “compensation” while Health Advisors (Professional Program) who are licensed healthcare providers or medically credentialed earn incomes as compliance fees paid to them for their assistance in helping customers and patients comply with the Medifast/TSFL Product and program protocols.

Compensation
Individuals participating in the Take Shape For Life business have 2 primary earning opportunities available to them in for growing their business. These are:

1. To develop a stand-alone independent Health Advisor business acquiring customers and providing them with the support, programs, and products they need from Take Shape For Life.
2. And, if they chose, they can also create a Business Organization or Sales Team by developing a Health Advisor Network of other independent Health Advisors like themselves.
